What you can expect for your child on our 11 Plus Course in Stoke Poges
We develop pupils’ knowledge so they’re equipped to answer a broad range of challenging verbal, mathematical and non-verbal reasoning questions. In addition to their personal targets, time will be spent working on:
Small class sizes
All our Stoke Poges 11 Plus classes are limited in size which means that your child will have valuable one-to-one attention with their fully qualified teacher. Discover the proven benefits of small class sizes.
Your child is assessed twice during each team – at half term and at the end of term. This means that we can check they’ve achieved their individual targets and devise a Tuition Plan that suits their needs and challenges. We’ll share all assessment results and Tuition Plans with you and you’re more than welcome to discuss them with us.
At the start of the course, your child will receive a resource pack containing their class and homework books, carefully selected from a wide range of reputable publishers.
All of our students are presented with their books in a Marie Redmond Tuition® rucksack, featuring an electronic thesaurus, note book and a pencil case containing pencils, an eraser and sharpener. The cost of the resource pack is fully covered by our annual book fee.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for encouraging her to come out of her a shell. When she started with you in December she really dreaded tackling Maths in any form. She was ecstatic with her Maths score in the most recent assessment and the hard work from both sides clearly shows. She is enjoying it a lot more, feels more confident about it all because she is understanding it much more.Year 4 parent, Langley (2018)
He ended up passing both (by a couple of points in each instance) so we’ve elected to apply to a number of grammar schools.
Year 5 parent, Stoke Poges (2017)
Thank you for the results. They are very encouraging and most importantly she is happy. We will work with her in the targets set.

She passed the 11 Bucks exam. I would like to thank you for all support over the holidays. The classes were really beneficial for her.

Bisma had a great first session last Saturday at Stoke Poges – this was a real positive as she was very nervous at the start. I would also like to add that correspondence from yourself and your colleagues was informative and timely. The homework resources were well organised and we were able to find and use everything with ease – I especially liked the use of the purple folder containing that weeks homework. The small incentives used to motivate the children also worked a treat! Early days but a happy start.Year 4 parent, Langley (2017)
Thank you for his assessment results. Drew and I are so pleased with his progress. His school teachers commented that he is like a different child in Maths lessons and is now choosing to attempt the more challenging questions. Thank you to you and Anne.Year 4 parent, Stoke Poges (2017)
Thank you for the test results. We are so pleased with the effort he is putting into his work and how well he is doing. I had a quick chat with Anne last week to thank her and it was lovely to hear positive feedback regarding his attitude in class.Year 4 parent, Stoke Poges (2017)
I am pleased to say she did very well. She scored 145. The mock exam at the end of your course made me realise how under prepared she was. I always knew she had it in her, she just needed to practice and familiarise herself with the format of the questions. All the best and thank you.Year 5 parent, Stoke Poges (2016)
Matas passed Bucks test with the score of 137, can’t describe how grateful we are for your help and support!
Year 5 parent, Uxbridge (2016)
Once again really appreciate your help and look forward to staying in touch as we intend to use your services again in the future for our daughter Rhea who is currently aged 7.
Year 5 parent, Stoke Poges (2016)
I just wanted to let you know her 11+ results. She scored 189 in the Bucks test and 130 in the Slough test. We are absolutely delighted with her results. The structure your course provided really helped to keep her focused throughout the year. Many thanks to you and your team for all your guidance and support.Year 5 parent, Stoke Poges (2015)
He passed his 11+ so we are very pleased!

My daughter has been attending sessions with a lovely lady called Carolyn. Every session has been well constructed, fun and enjoyable. We have just received the end of year school report and have been overwhelmed by her grades and progress, which I feel has been achieved due to the tuition. My daughter now feels more confident to take the 11+ in September.Year 5 parent, Stoke Poges (2014)
